A one-off, hand built addition to my 'Cilcain collection'.
This vase has a tactile shape that is also somewhat anatomical. It's been formed in a flecked stoneware and decorated with large and small irregular shapes which are reminiscent of the patterns formed within the dry stone walls in my local countryside.
A matte, off-white glaze has been poured over the body in varying thicknesses to create texture and a natural patterna.

Thrown in a flecked stoneware clay finished in an off-white matte glaze inside and out. It has been fired in an electric kiln to 1250°c.
